This is the second year that Chevrolet and Hockey Canada are promoting this amazing program where Peewee Age Hockey teams from across Canada help by doing a Good Deed in their community. A one minute video is created and submitted for consideration to win the #gooddeedscup.
Our Local Flamborough Peewee AE team recently did some good deeds within our community. We partnered with Citadel Canine Society and Mens' Street Ministry. We made a video of what we accomplished and submitted our one minute video for a chance to win the #GoodDeedsCup.
On January 5, 2018. TSN made the announcement during the IIHF Juniors Gold Medal Hockey Game that our Flamborough Sabres were within the TOP 10, qualifying as SEMI-FINALISTS. As Semi-Finalists our team has won a Gift bag for each member of the team from Chevrolet and Hockey Canada, and more importantly $2,000 for our charity.
