Gearing up for the next tournament
The Novice AA Sabres have been getting into the swing of the new season with lots of good, hard practices and games.
Since our last update, the team have enjoyed some decisive wins at home and a hard-won victory on the road in Oakville. During the most recent back-to-back games against Burlington, the team skated hard, worked together and stayed within one point of the opponents.
The players, staff and their families look forward to a tournament in Kingston this weekend. One of the off-hours highlights will be the opportunity for the team to serve as bench warmers for the OHL Kingston Frontenacs, who take on the Erie Otters. This will be a great chance for the young players to experience the excitement of Junior hockey at ice level.
