First Off, The Georgina Regional Silver Stick - Sylvia Tremblett Memorial Tournament Committee and The Georgina Minor Hockey Association would like to wish everyone Good Luck in the upcoming tournament. We are so excited to have everyone back for our annual International Silver Stick Regional Qualifier.
Please remember our tournament starts Thursday Dec 2nd, 2021 at 4pm. The GMHA and the Town of Georgina are putting together the final details for your arrival and we all know rules and regulations are constantly changing, we will do our best to keep everyone informed of any changes.
• Masks are mandatory and proof of vaccine and ID will be checked by security before entering each time. To avoid delays, please have them ready.
• There are QR codes placed on the glass at the front doors of the Georgina Ice Palace and the Sutton Arena for Liability & Pre-Screening Waivers. We ask that ALL participants and spectators complete the pre-screening each and every time that they enter the facilities.
• If a person does not have a smart phone, the Welcome desk will have paper copies of the waiver in order to complete the screening process. Please show your confirmation of completed waiver to welcome desk volunteers and security staff.
• Please arrive 1 hour before your first game. During that time each player and bench staff will be checked for their vaccination status (for those born in 2009 and older) and ID and given a wrist band for the tournament, to streamline their entry into the arenas over the weekend. Please note our waiver must still be completed before entering each game. The wrist bands are only for proof of vaccination. Spectators will NOT be given wrist bands and will still be required to check in each and every time they enter the arena.
• There are currently no entry and exit time protocols, participants are free to come and go from the arena as they please BUT DRESSING ROOMS must be vacated 20 minutes after game to ensure proper cleaning and disinfect.
• We still request that spectators wait until just before their game time to start to enter, to allow the game before to exit.
