Red Control - COVID Update
Submitted By Kelly Palmer on Saturday, November 21, 2020
ALL FHA PROGRAMMING PAUSED

The province has placed the City of Hamilton in the COVID-19 Control - Red Zone. These restrictions have impacted all sport organizations including minor hockey in our region. The FHA board has made the difficult decision to pause our programming immediately until allowances on ice return to a minimum of 25 participants, as player safety and well-being of our membership is our number one priority. Although this situation is disappointing, the FHA believes that the safety of our players and membership is paramount and these restrictions are necessary to assist in flattening the curve.

Please note that the last payment for rostered players will be pushed until hockey resumes in Hamilton and the amount is TBD based on ice/program offerings.

The FHA will update the Membership when more information becomes available on a potential resumption of programming and we ask our members to be patient during this ever-changing environment.

The FHA Board of Directors wish you and your families well and to be safe during this unprecedented time.
