FHA GEAR LIBRARY
FHA is a proud host of the OMHA Player Assist Program -- Sponsored by Egg Farmers of Ontario
The cost of obtaining hockey gear is identified as one of the barriers to young players getting involved in hockey. Families may be concerned about spending money on equipment not knowing how their child will feel toward the sport. Will their child grow needing another new set of gear the following year? This program aims to reduce the strain and make the great game of hockey accessible to more young players.
We have over 30 sets of equipment in a range of sizes for U7 to U9 players. The sets include a hockey bag, stick, helmet, neck guard, gloves, elbow pads, shoulder pads, pants, skates, and in some cases shin pads. The equipment is returned at the conclusion of the hockey season.
